US confirms 3 F-15 jets down in Kuwait in friendly fire, Iran says US, Israel hit N-facility

West Asia faces unprecedented escalation as Iran launched strikes against eight countries within 48 hours, targeting military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Cyprus, and Lebanon. Meanwhile, the US military has confirmed that it lost three fighter jets on Monday after they were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defence systems. All crew members on the three F-15 jets had ejected and were safe. While Iran's ambassador to the IAEA said that the United States and Israel attacked Iranian nuclear facilities, specifically naming the Natanz facility as the target. The IAEA, which is a global nuclear watchdog, says there's no sign that Iran's nuke sites were hit.

And in India, Prime Minister Modi chaired a Cabinet Committee on Security meeting to review the crisis as Air India and Akasa suspended flights to the region. Commercial aviation remains disrupted across Dubai, Doha, and Riyadh, while Hezbollah and Israel exchanged strikes in northern Israel and Beirut.
