Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during his weekly public interaction programme "Lok Samvad" said that Muzaffarpur shelter rape cases should not be politicised.
Addressing the media, Nitish blamed it all on the 'system' and said that the accused won't be spared. He said that the government took necessary action against the officials of the social welfare department as soon as they got the report.
The Opposition had recently demanded Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's resignation along with Minister Manju Verma. However, Nitish said that he won't sack his minister without any proof.
He said that if the social welfare minister Manju Verma is found involved or if anything is found against her in connection with the Muzaffarpur shelter home sex scandal, she may be asked "to go".
