In an exclusive interview with India Today, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh called the battle against coronavirus a sort of war with an unseen enemy. He also talked about his govt's steps to control the spread of the virus and what he plans to do after April 14.
When asked about the lifting lockdown after April 14, Singh said, "We will open it up in some way so that people can get their crops into the mandis. And that we working out. Tomorrow, we will be working on this and see how we can possibly do it. But other than that, the curfew will stay in place, and I am not going to lift it. I can't give a date for these things. We just have to see how the situation develops, if it is under control, we can give some, easing it off, if it's not under control then we will continue with it."
