Modi vs Mamata showdown: Anarchy or political vendetta?

As Mamata Banerjee's dharna entered Day 2 on Monday, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad lashed out at Bengal CM for obstructing CBI officials from performing their duty in the ponzi scam case. He said the Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar was being protected as he knew some "secrets".

Prasad refuted charges leveled by the Mamata govt of vendetta politics by BJP-led central govt, saying the chit fund scam was unearthed before Modi govt came to power and the CCBI started investigating the matter on the directions of the Supreme Court.
