CAA violence in Delhi: Death toll in northeast rises to 18

The national capital continues to remain on edge as the death toll due to the ongoing violence over the new citizenship law in Delhi’s northeast region climbed to 18 on Wednesday morning.

Violent clashes erupted in the northeast region on Tuesday between anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) demonstrators and supporters of the new law. Affected areas were Chand Bagh, Bhajanpura, Gokulpuri, Maujpur, Kardampuri and Jaffrabad. For more, watch this episode of First Up.
