Covid-19: Maharashtra remains worst-hit state; war over numbers in Bengal; more

Maharashtra remains the worst-hit state across the country with over 16,700 novel coronavirus cases reported so far. Meanwhile, in West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of fudging the numbers of deaths due to Covid-19 in the state.
