KJ Alphons backs Kerala CM for foreign aid, Kerala blames TN for floods, more

As row over foreign aid to flood-ravaged Kerala escalates, Union Minister KJ Alphons backed Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan over accepting Rs 700 crore aid from UAE. He urged Centre to rethink over its foreign aid policy, saying Kerala needs money.

War between Tamil Nadu and Kerala is said to intensify over disputed Mullaperiyar dam as CM Vijayan blamed Tamil Nadu for deadly floods.
