Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while interacting with 40 business leaders, at a roundtable conference in New York, highlighted some of the steps taken by India to become a $5 trillion economy.

Speaking at the event, PM Modi in New York said, "We have courage, capability to make India a 5 trillion dollar economy."

In a tweet, PM Modi said, "Captains of industry interact with PM @narendramodi in New York. The extensive agenda includes harnessing investment opportunities in India and boosting commercial linkages between India and USA."
