Names of Gandhi family members be removed from public places: Akali Dal Chief

Akali Dal jumps into the row over Bharat Ratna to Rajiv Gandhi. Akalai Dal chief demands Punjab assembly resolution seeking withdrawal of a war to the ex-prime minister. Days after the massive uproar in the assembly in the alleged resolution demanding for the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's Bharat Ratna to be revoked, now Shiromani Akali Dal has demanded that the Bharat Ratna to the former PM should be revoked.

The Akali Dal has demanded a special session of Punjab assembly to pass a resolution demanding that Bharat Ratna to Rajiv Gandhi be revoked. Akali Dal Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has also demanded that names of all the Gandhi family members should be removed from public places.
