The Home Ministry said there is "All-time high" threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, not even ministers and officers will be allowed to come too close to the prime minister unless cleared by the Special Protection Group (SPG).
Meanwhile, the first batch of pilgrims for the annual Amarnath Yatra flagged off from Jammu's base camp in Bhagwant Nagar amid unprecedented security.
The pilgrims will start their journey to more than 3,000 metre high cave shrine by foot. The cave of Amarnath houses the shrine of Hindu god of destruction, Shiva.
