PM Modi, Xi Jinping to meet in Mamallapuram; Rajnath Singh slams Opposition over Rafale puja row; more

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet for the the second informal summit in Tamil Nadu's Mamallapuram on Friday.

The timing of this meeting is significant as it comes against the backdrop of heated exchange of words between the two sides over the Kashmir issue following India's decision to revoke the special status enjoyed by Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hit back at the Opposition over Rafale 'shastra puja' row. "People can say whatever they want. I did what I thought was right and will continue to do so. This is our faith, that there is a superpower and I have believed it since childhood," Rajnath Singh said.
