PM sparks row with Rajiv Gandhi remark, SC junks Congress plea against EC, more

PM Narendra Modi sparked a controversy by saying that Rajiv Gandhi and his family used Indian Navy's aircraft carrier INS Viraat to go for a vacation during his tenure as prime minister.

Meanwhile, the Congress party received another setback with the Supreme Court disposing of the PIL filed by the All India Mahila Congress president Sushmita Dev, over violations of the mode code of conduct by PM Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.
