Rahul Gandhi's citizenship row: Independent candidate raises questions on affidavit

An Independent candidate from Amethi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, Dhruv Lal, has filed a complaint alleging discrepancies in Rahul Gandhi's candidature.

Dhruv Lal’s lawyer has alleged that there are no details mentioned in Rahul's election affidavit about the assets and properties of the UK company for the period between 2003 to 2009. The Election Commission has hence postponed Rahul Gandhi's nomination papers scrutiny date.
