US carries out airstrike in Kabul targeting ISIS-K militants; Taliban suspends internet in Panjshir; more

The United States carried out a military drone strike in Kabul on Sunday, hitting a vehicle carrying "multiple suicide bombers" on their way to Kabul airport. The official US Central Command statement said, "Significant secondary explosions from the vehicle indicated the presence of a substantial amount of explosive material."

Meanwhile, the Taliban claimed that their fighters have entered the Panjshir Valley from several directions without clashes, but the Popular Resistance Front denied the claims. The Taliban have shut down the internet in Panjshir valley, where resistance forces are holding a last stand against them in Afghanistan.
