It took 2 years 2 months and 10 days for the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to give its verdict in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case. Jadhav has been languishing in Pakistan's 'military' prisons for more than three years.
The verdict was a huge win for India. The ICJ ruled in favour of India concluding that Pakistan breached Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (VCCR) by denying consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is too claiming victory after the verdict stating that the ICJ has not sought the release of Kulbhushan Jadhav.
