Bengal violence: BJP cadres being targeted for badla?

Sporadic post-poll violence continued on Tuesday in West Bengal claiming several lives as chief minister Mamata Banerjee asked officials to act decisively and Prime Minister Narendra Modi rang up Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to express anguish over the law-and-order situation.

Meanwhile, addressing a virtual press conference in New Delhi, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said, "Bengal is burning because of state-sponsored violence. Such scenes have never been witnessed in the country's electoral history."
