Rafale a great deterrent: Rajnath Singh after landing

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday was officially handed over first French-built Rafale jet from France. After receiving the twin-engine jet, the defence minister performed ‘Shastra Puja’ on the aircraft and also took a sortie in the aircraft.

After taking a sortie in the new Rafale jet, BJP leader Rajnath Singh said, “Taking a sortie in Rafale was a memorable and once in a lifetime experience. The induction of Rafale will go a long way in strengthening our national defence.”
