Nagpur locals recount night of violence; Tulsi Gabbard at Raisina dialogue

Violence erupted in central Nagpur after 7 pm on Monday following rumours of the desecration of a community’s holy book during an agitation by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal. Locals reported that stones were thrown at homes, and cars and bikes were set on fire. In response, the government imposed a ban on large gatherings to control the situation.

She stressed the need for peace, security, and prosperity, citing joint efforts by President Trump and Prime Minister Modi.
