PM Modi pays tribute at war memorial; Republic Day celebrations begin at Kartavya Path; more

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid solemn tributes to the fallen heroes by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial. PM Modi has arrived at the Kartavya Path where he was received by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. President Droupadi Murmu and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El –Sisi reached Kartavya Path to attend the Republic Day celebrations. Prez Droupadi Murmu unfurled the Tricolour and the parade has begun. Marching contingents of forces and battle tanks are displaying their military might during the parade at the Kartavya Path.
