Widespread protests erupt in Middle-East over Gaza hospital explosion

In response to the explosion that killed about 500 in a hospital in Gaza City, widespread protests erupted in Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Iran, and Jordan. In Lebanon, groups of protesters traversed Beirut on motorcycles, congregating outside the French embassy and the headquarters of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia. Their attempts to reach the heavily fortified US embassy complex in the hills north of Beirut were unsuccessful, according to the Associated Press. Dozens of protesters made an effort to breach the Israeli embassy compound in Amman, Jordan.
