A martyred Army jawan's widow in Haryana's Kurukshetra has been humiliated by the Sainik Board.
Army jawan Mandeep Singh was killed and his body mutilated by terrorists in north Kashmir last year.
The widow, identified as Prerna, was asked to give a written undertaking stating she did not remarry Mandeep's brother.
When Union Minister Rajnath Singh visited Kurukshetra recently, she was on the list of VIP duties. But she was removed from duty, fearing that she might reveal the truth to him.
While the Haryana government has announced that Mandeep's brother will get a job appointment letter within a couple of days, the humiliation that she has had to face is palpable.
The show also discusses the agitation by farmers in Maharashtra who are holding protests, demanding a loan waiver from the government.
In 7 districts, they have vandalised vehicles carrying farm produce - milk, vegetables, fruits to Mumbai. Farmers have also demanded a Minimum Support Price for their produce.
The show later talks about protests in IIT-Madras over the attack on the institute's PhD scholar Sooraj.
