India records biggest single-day spike in in Covid-19 cases

In the biggest spike in coronavirus infection on a single day, India on Friday recorded as many as 1,752 new cases taking the total number of infected people to 23,452. The new cases were reported even as the doubling rate of the infection improved to 10 days from 7.5 reported earlier this week, according to the health ministry.
