Is India truly open defecation free?

On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that rural India has declared itself open defecation free. He made the announcement in the presence of over 20,000 village heads who attended the event at Sabarmati Riverfront in Gujarat.

So as PM Modi made the big announcement, we raise the following questions: Is India truly open defecation free? Swachh India PM Modi's biggest feat? Swachh India a game changer?
