Multi-crore illegal mining business in Meghalaya exposed

India Today's special investigative team exposed the mining mafia of Meghalaya and how they operate. The team went deep inside a rat-hole mine where no one should go. Yet, this is where hundreds of poor miners are sent by powerful mining mafia.

Meanwhile, chances of any of the 15 miners coming out alive from the flooded pit 25 km away in the same Jaintia Hills area are remote.
