UPA heavyweights face cases: Political vendetta or war on corruption?

Hours after the Delhi High Court rejected former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram's anticipatory bail in the INX media case, a team of the CBI and the ED officials visited his residence on Tuesday. However, the senior Congress leader was not present there.

While denying anticipatory bail to P Chidambaram, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday observed the former Finance Minister was the "key conspirator" in the INX media case. "Facts of the case prima facie reveal that the petitioner is the kingpin, the key conspirator in this case," it said.
