Decoding economic crisis: India's urban unemployment rate goes up to nearly 10% in August

India's unemployment rate and overall joblessness worsened in the month of August in the formal sector. According to latest data by Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), the urban unemployment in India shot up to 9.83 per cent in August as against 9.15 per cent in July.
