The Maharashtra governor had asked the Shiv Sena to stake claims after the Bharatiya Janata Party refused to form government in the state on Sunday. However, Shiv Sena failed to stake claim within the set deadline, and therefore the governor has now given the NCP 24 hours time to express their willingness to form the government in Maharashtra.
