The Congress continues to sink deep in the Karnataka crisis as two more MLAs have put in their papers, joining the resignation bandwagon. A total 14 MLAs of the Congress party have submitted their resignations to the Karnataka assembly speaker. Unprecedented scenes followed the resignations as Congress MLA K Sudhakar was seen being manhandled by Congress leaders and also had a heated discussion with them later.
With the total strength of the assembly now down to 208, and the majority mark set at 105, the BJP with their current strength of 107 is nearing to form the government.
Is it all over for the Congress-JD(S) government?
