Pak drone spotted over Punjab's Gurdaspur; Joshimath declared 'landside zone'; more

Pakistani drones were spotted in Punjab's Chandu Wadala village and Kassowal post late on Sunday. The drones were noticed and were fired upon by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, which prevented them from entering any further. The drones were spotted at nearly 10:20 pm on Sunday, following which 26 rounds were fired by the security forces.

The gateway to Hemkund Sahib and Badrinath, Joshimath has been declared a landslide-subsidence zone. A sinking Joshimath has given a tough time to the authorities as well, who have shifted nearly 70 affected families, while the work to relocate many others is underway.
