Mumbai bridge collapse: BMC report blames faulty structural audit, recommends FIR against auditor

BMC's preliminary report has blamed the faulty structural audit of the CST foot overbridge by DAECA, the company which did the audit.

The report submitted by chief engineer said the structural audit report failed to detect the fault in the footoverbridge. The report further recommended blacklisting of the audit company and filing of an FIR against the auditor.
