Different cities, same negligence: Is there no value for human life in India? 

Across India's cities, lives are being crushed under civic apathy. One open pit, one unstable pole, one collapsing structure at a time. The youngest victim was just three years old. In Greater Noida, little Devansh was playing near a temple when he slipped into a rainwater-filled pit and died. Residents said the pit had been open for weeks and alleged repeated complaints were ignored. While authorities pointed to disputes over land ownership. In another case in Pratapgarh, Samajwadi Party leader Lal Bahadur Yadav died on the spot when a high-mass light pole collapsed onto a moving car in a busy market area. These are not isolated tragedies.
