Farmers are back on the warpath again in Haryana. This time the farmers blocked the Delhi-Chandigarh National Highway-44 near Pipli in Kurukshetra for a second day today, to mount pressure on the Haryana government to ensure the purchase of sunflower crop at a minimum support price and the release of arrested BKU leaders.
Farmer leaders at the protest site said that several rounds of talks have been held with the district administration since Monday, but so far they have not yielded any outcome. So, watch as BKU leader Rakesh Tikait talks about farmers demands and panelists debate the issue.
