Residential buildings, refugee camps attacked in Gaza | Ground report

Israel said on Thursday there would be no humanitarian break to its siege of the Gaza Strip until all its hostages were freed. As the Palestinians in the enclave suffer from a lack of basic amenities, Rami Almeghari, who is currently in Gaza, told India Today that the situation on the ground is "very terrible". 

Residential buildings and refugee camps in the Gaza Strip were targeted by the Israeli strikes, he added. 

The Hamas group had said the Israeli strikes targeted civilians in the Al-Shati and Jabalia camps. In response, Hamas fired a barrage of rockets at Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel.
