I would like to interview PM Modi: Tucker Carlson

In an exclusive interview with India Today's Geeta Mohan and Marya Shakil, American journalist Tucker Carlson spoke on a wide range of issues, including the US-India trade deal and the role of social media.

On PM Modi, Tucker Carlson said, "He's clearly an amazing person. I've always wanted to interview him. I hope I do sometime." And on India, he said, 'India is now a great power, you cannot dictate terms to it.'

Carlson remained critical of Western 'regime media' and emphasised the importance of independent thinking and speaking truth to power in a polarised world.
