S Jaishankar meets US Treasury Secretary Bessent, Trump speaks to Chinese President Xi Jinping, more

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and held a discussion on advancing bilateral economic partnership and strategic cooperation. He also participated in the Critical Minerals Ministerial Meeting convened by Mr Rubio. The discussions during these meetings spanned around trade, energy, nuclear cooperation, defense, critical minerals and emerging technologies.

US President Donald Trump has spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping, and he hailed his talks with the Chinese President. Trump called it an excellent conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
