Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong un meet in North Korea, sign defence agreement

On his first visit to North Korea in 24 years, Russian President Vladimir Putin met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and signed a comprehensive defence agreement to assist each other during aggression by a third country.

Putin was met at Pyongyang’s airport by Kim Jong Un, who joined Putin in his car to personally guide him to Pyongyang’s Kumsusan State Guest House.
