A mandatory concussion test is underway for Sooryavanshi as he copped a hostile blow straight onto the helmet. The physio is out to check him up, and Vaibhav does look a bit shaken with that blow. Sips in some water, takes some deep breaths and is good to continue.

13.2: Kagiso Rabada to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Ouch, that is a nasty blow. A proper fast bowler's response from Rabada. This is dug in short, over the left shoulder. Sooryavanshi swivels but takes his eyes off the ball while playing the pull. The ball grazes the top edge before pinging him on the side of the helmet. He is a bit shaken by the blow but manages to complete the single.

13.1: Kagiso Rabada to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, SIX! Rabada is welcomed back with a maximum. Kagiso angles it across the left-hander, on a length. Sooryavanshi hangs back, keeps a still head and carves it towards wide long off for a six.

Strategic Break! The Gujarat Titans have made an outstanding comeback in the middle phase, as they have conceded just 50 runs since the fielding restrictions were lifted and have picked up three massive wickets en route. Jason Holder has been the chief engineer of that comeback through a fabulous spell. However, with Jadeja back to bat, and Sooryavanshi looking pretty nicely settled, ready to launch, the Royals would still aim to finish around or above 200 to give themselves a good chance to defend their score. Kagiso Rabada (2-0-21-1) is brought back on.

12.6: Prasidh Krishna to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, FIFTY FOR SOORYAVANSHI! This has not been an easy wicket to bat on, given the two-paced nature, but Vaibhav has hung in there for his side. Prasidh digs it in short, over middle. Sooryavanshi gets his hands high and pulls it through mid-wicket for a single. This is Vaibhav's 5th fifty of the season, but the slowest of the lot in 31 balls, according to Ian Bishop.

12.4: Prasidh Krishna to Jofra Archer, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Six and out for Archer against Prasidh. Krishna pushes the length up and delivers it in the channel on off at 146.3 kph. Archer hangs on the back foot and swings hard, aiming to go down the ground. The ball catches the outside edge and the keeper, Jos Buttler, gobbles it up with ease. RR lose half their side now.

Bowled at 144 kph, into the wicket and angled into the bodyline of the batter. Sooryavanshi stays deep in the crease but is rushed and he is tucked up for room. Skies the pull behind square leg, where Sai Sudharsan runs in off the ropes but the ball drops well in front. Single taken.

His participation in the remainder of this game still remains unclear.

11.3: Jason Holder to Dasun Shanaka, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Jason Holder is turning the game around for Gujarat, and we have seen this before this season. He bends his back and bowls a well-directed bumper on the body of the batter. Dasun Shanaka tries to get inside the line and hook it away but gets tucked up. He only manages to glove it behind, where Jos Buttler makes no mistake. 17th wicket of the season for Holder, and this is now his best IPL campaign with the ball. Rajasthan Royals are 109/4 now.

Riyan Parag plays his favourite pick-up shot off the pads, whipping it. He gets a good connection but just does not get enough elevation on the shot. It flies towards deep mid-wicket, where Kagiso Rabada takes a couple of steps back, settles under it and takes a fine reverse cup catch a couple of inches ahead of the ropes. Parag stands there in disbelief, but once again, he has failed to convert his start. It has been his story of the season.

Oh, hang on! Ravindra Jadeja looks in some discomfort out there and is walking off the field and is retired hurt. He had received medical attention during the break, but the issue clearly persists. We assume it is regarding his elbow, but not quite sure. We might have an update soon on that as well. RR would want Jadeja to be back as he will be crucial with the ball as well later on. For now, Riyan Parag is the new batter in for the Royals.

Strategic Break! Ravindra Jadeja signals to the physio and the umpires take this opportunity to call for the strategic break. Despite losing a couple of early wickets, Rajasthan Royals have scored at a brisk rate, and for a change, it is Jadeja who is playing the aggressor and not Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, but he is not too far behind. Gujarat Titans tried the short-ball tactic on the kid, but it has not been fruitful so far. They know that they have to break this stand and put pressure on the middle order, which did crumble in the Eliminator.

Time to hear from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - About his routine before every match, Sooryavanshi says the evening schedule has worked in their favour, giving the squad plenty of time to recover between games. He adds that he uses his free time to connect with his family. On the knockout pressure, he says his thought process does not change from game to game, and he makes a conscious effort not to overthink, which he believes keeps him sharp and focused. About whether he focuses much on video analysis of the bowlers he is going to face, Sooryavanshi says he does not rely on it heavily, explaining that watching too much footage can plant doubts in his mind about the deliveries that could get him out.
