KKR vs LSG Highlights, IPL 2026: Mukul Choudhary gets LSG over the line in thriller

Mukul Choudhary steals the show for LSG and they clinch a last-ball thriller at the Eden Gardens. Vaibhav Arora fails to deliver in the final over and concedes two sixes. The final ball sees Avesh Khan just run and get the win as KKR fans are left heartbroken in the end. Mukul prays to the gods and Lucknow get their second win. 

KKR will be left to rue their death bowling once again as they kept bowling into the arc of Mukul and he just kept sending them over the boundary. He hit 7 sixes in his innings and that's the game. 

Kolkata still struggle to get a win and they will head back home without anything once again. 

Mukul Choudhary onslaught continues and he gets 14 runs off Cameron Green's second over. LSG need 14 off the final over, but Mukul is off strike and it is Avesh Khan will start the final over. 

Mukul Choudhary gives Lucknow some hope as he takes down Vaibhav Arora for a boundary and a six. The maximum was with a helicopter shot and there is some fight still left in LSG. He then sends Kartik Tyagi over the fence. He follows it with another one and the equation is suddenly 30 from 12 balls. 

What an over from Sunil Narine! He just bamboozles Mukul Choudhary and the LSG batter rotates the strike and gives it to Shami. The Bengal man goes for a wild shot and gets caught at the boundary. It is not often that we see celebrations from Narine and he is ecstatic. 

Commentator's curse? Well, KKR and Anukul Roy doesn't care as Ayush Badoni falls right after getting to his fifty and Lucknow lose their sixth wicket of the evening. Mukul Choudhary is their only hope and is joined by M Siddharth in the middle. 

A sensational bit of batting from Badoni here. He takes Navdeep Saini to the cleaners with three boundaries in the 14th over and the pressure is back on KKR. He is giving Lucknow the hope they need to get the win. He gets to a fifty with a full toss from Anukul Roy. Can he get them over the line?

Anukul Roy kept bowling on a great length tonight, and he breached the defence of Abdul Samad. KKR are well into the contest and LSG are slowly running out of options with the bat. Mukul Choudhary walks to the middle and joins Badoni, who has been sensational with the bat today. 

Kartik Tyagi gets the bog wicket. Pooran has struggled for momentum in the innings and Tyagi gives the ball a bit of a spin and pitches it short. The run-rate is climbing and Tyagi pulls things back after conceding a boundary early on in the innings. The required run-rate is at 10.75 and Samad comes to the middle. 

Amidst a sensational over from Navdeep Saini, we get breaking news from Tom Moody, LSG director. He reveals that they're preparing for a replacement for Wanindu Hasaranga, who is yet to get clearance from Sri Lanka cricket. Who will Lucknow go for? Will it be Gutakesh Motie?

Sunil Narine bowls a sensational over to build the pressure on LSG. He beats Pooran twice and then makes Badoni be patient and see off the over. There is dew on the field and that will give advantage to Lucknow. KKR will need inspiration from the other end to get them in control of the contest. Who will it be? 

Nicholas Pooran ruins Cameron Green's over with a six and he will be the man to get the job done for Lucknow. Last year, he was on rampaging form, but the move is yet to work out for him. Can he make it work? 

This is not a false alarm! Cameron Green is bowling and he gets the wicket of Rishabh Pant off his second ball. The ball was short, scrambled seam and then Kartik Tyagi takes a regulation catch. KKR are back in the contest. 

So the first timeout comes in and both teams are almost similar at this point. LSG have lost one more wicket but have got 72 runs in the first 8 overs. They're keeping up with the required rate and have skipper Rishabh Pant and Ayush Badoni in the middle. Narine bowled a tight over but the rest of the KKR bowlers need to step up. 

Ayush Badoni starts the over after powerplay with a sensational boundary and then Rishabh Pant follows it up with an audacious drive. 12 comes off the over and the momentum is back with Lucknow and the home side need to find some inspiration once again. Will it come from the spinners? 

So, LSG get 56 in the powerplay but they have been jolted massively by the two wickets of Marsh and Markram. Badoni is showing some promise here with a six off Vaibhav and a boundary off Narine. Both teams are level at this point with Lucknow losing an extra wicket. 

Two in the over for Vaibhav Arora. This one is a bit wide and Marsh goes for a pull. He finds a nick and it goes to Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who completes the catch. 

Aiden Markram tries for another big shot and it seems like the plan finally works out for Ajinkya Rahane and Vaibhav Arora. The ball just gets a bit big on the LSG opener and KKR have their tails up. Rishabh Pant comes to crease and joins Mitchell Marsh in the middle. 

The over was looking good from a KKR perspective, but then Mitchell Marsh just frees his arms and gets a six. The run-rate is still at 10 and KKR will be searching for an answer in the next over. 

After a silent start, Aiden Markram takes down Navdeep Saini. The first three balls go for 14 runs and while the KKR pacer pulls things back, the damage is done. 18 comes off that over and LSG start finding momentum in the run chase. KKR need a wicket from somewhere and they turn to Anukul once again.  

One good thing from a KKR perspective is that they have given away no width. Marsh and Markram are being made to work for the runs and Anukul breezes through his over. The LSG openers have been tentative with their approach and will be ready to pounce if they get a bit of width.
