The Pakistani batters honed their skills in the nets while the fielders practiced their catches and throws. The team appeared to be in excellent form during the session, demonstrating their readiness for the upcoming match.

Pakistan's leg-spinner, Usama Mir, spoke off-camera with reporters on the sidelines after the practice session. He expressed the team's determination to seize the opportunity at hand.

"We are hopeful of making it to the semi-finals. Every member of the team understands the importance of the match and wants to give their best. The relationship between everyone is friendly," Mir stated.

"We are all striving to perform well. I am also working on improving my bowling. It's a significant game for us. After winning the last match, we are all confident," Usama Mir added.

In a heartwarming gesture, the Pakistan cricket team showed their kindness towards a physically challenged Indian fan. Captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and other players met the fan, autographed his memorabilia, and took selfies with him. A crowd of fans was seen as the Pakistan cricket team returned to their hotel from Eden Gardens after the practice session.

Pakistan in their previous match defeated New Zealand in a rain-curtailed thriller. Chasing 402 in Bengaluru, opener Fakhar Zaman came out all guns blazing and slammed the fastest World Cup hundred by a Pakistan batter. Zaman's 126* off 81 and Babar Azam's 66* off 63 balls kept Pakistan ahead of the DLS par score when rain came pelting down in the 26th over. Teams could not come out to play after that and Pakistan clinched a crucial win in the World Cup 2023 to remain alive in the semi-final race.
