The IPL 2025 season has been suspended from May 9 due to rising India-Pakistan military tensions. The suspension comes after cross-border shelling and air strikes, including an aborted match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals on May 8. BCCI will await government directives before resuming play, with international players’ safety also a significant consideration.
