Right then, that is it from this exciting game where South Africa manages to break their curse and defeat Netherlands but it was not easy at all. Aiden Markram, the victorious skipper of South Africa says that it was a bit nerve-wrecking. Credits the Netherlands bowlers for making it really hard for them. Adds that their opponents have shown that they can beat big teams and knew it would be scrap. Mentions that the win is very important and to squeeze a win like this, no one would have given them a chance after being four down. Says that the wicket played better, the bowlers did fantastic but they need to get their confidence back in the batting department.

Scott Edwards, the captain of Netherlands credits South Africa for the way they played. Mentions there was a bit in the widket with the new ball but the pitch flattened out. Adds they pride on playing good cricket and the guys standing up. Ends by saying he backed his team till the last ball and had they got Miller, they could have won.

The Dutch struggled with the bat throughout. They kept losing wickets and at one stage even 100 looked far away. Sybrand Engelbrecht did well along with the lower order to take them over that mark. They'll have to bowl really well now if they are to defend this. South Africa will back themselves to make it two in two. 

Anrich Nortje is up for a quick chat. He says that Jansen has been bowling well and was a bit unlucky with the wicket on the No Ball. Adds that the bowlers were fantastic to restrict them and Ottneil Baartman was excellent at the death. Tells that they have been good in the field in both games and will look to continue that. Mentions that it is great when the team backs you despite some question marks in the media. Says that it is nice to be part of such a team, and they have a good bunch with everyone knowing their roles. Ends by saying that he hopes they can go all the way this time.

That’s a fine effort with the ball again by South Africa! They’ll be very pleased with their effort heading into the break. It is their pacers who came to the fore yet again. Baartman impressed yet again and he was the pick. Jansen was excellent with the new ball and Nortje is finding his mojo in the middle overs. They took a total of 7 between them. PITCH REPORT - Ebony Rainford-Brent is pitchside. She says that it is fresh pitch but the conditions are hot and humid with a slight breeze around. Adds that longest hit is the straight one with 72 meters while the shortest on the square is 56 meters. Shaun Pollock joins her and says that they have taken a lot of grass off and rolled a fair bit. Ends by saying that it will play better than the last game.

Scott Edwards, the captain of Netherlands says that the history does come up sometimes in the discussions but it is a new game and anything can happen. Mentions that they are pretty confident and played a good game earlier and will look to do more of the same. Ends by saying they are going with the same team as well.

Aiden Markram, the skipper of South Africa says that they will bowl first. Adds that they have seen a few games on this wicket and they will like to use the conditions and restrict their opponents to a low total. Mentions that it looks a bit different but it is an advantage that they have already played on it.
