Tokyo 2020 gold winner Neeraj Chopra exclusive: Always knew an Indian will win an Olympic medal in athletics

Superstar javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra opened up on his gold medal win at the Tokyo Olympics and also revealed some unknown details about his event in an exclusive interview with India Today's Rajpdeep Sardesai.

"The Olympics is a different stage, it really depends on your day. You get probably four chances to play at the Olympics so your chances of winning a medal is that low. But I always knew some Indian will win a track and field medal, not just me.

"I will certainly go to the next Olympics with even more motivation. I have so much more to do, a lot of training. So I will try to go with more motivation," Neeraj told India Today.
