There's nothing bigger thn India-Pakistan rivalry in world cricket. Thr rivalry has given the fans some of the most classic matches. Political tensions between the neighbouring countries results into some extremely competitive cricket between the two teams on the pitch, but off the pitch the players share some great camaraderie.
Sunil Gavaskar and Wasim Akram, who started proceedings at Salaam Cricket 2018 shared several stories from their playing days.
Gavaskar said how Indian players always enjoyed some terrific hospitality whenever they toured Pakistan.
"Till 7 years, my waistline was the same. and then went to Pakistan, and the aroma coming from the food, you just could not control and my waistline increased. Similar thing happened four years later but since then i have maintained, because I haven't been to Pakistan," said Gavaskar.
