Vivo has introduced the T5 Pro in India. It has a 50-megapixel primary Sony camera and features a 6.83-inch display. Here is what we know so far.
Vivo has launched the Vivo T5 Pro 5G today in India, expanding its T-series lineup. The smartphone succeeds last year’s Vivo T4 Pro and is positioned in the mid-range segment. It features a large battery, a Snapdragon chipset, and an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The handset is offered in two colour options and will go on sale starting April 21 via Flipkart.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits and comes with SGS certifications for low blue light emission and flicker-free viewing.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, which Vivo claims can deliver an AnTuTu score of around 1.2 million. The chipset is designed to handle up to 120fps in games. To manage heat, the smartphone is equipped with a large 7,000 mm vapour chamber cooling system.
On the camera front, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G sports a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor and a 2-megapixel lens. For selfies, it houses a 32MP front-facing camera. Both the rear and front cameras support 4K video recording.
The smartphone packs a massive 9,020mAh battery, which Vivo claims is the largest ever on one of its phones. It is said to offer up to 37 hours of video playback, 90 hours of music playback, over 12 hours of gaming, more than 13 hours of live streaming, and over 12 hours of video recording. The device supports 90W fast wired charging, which can reportedly charge the battery from 1% to 50% in just 37 minutes. It also includes bypass charging and reverse wired charging support.
On the software side, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G runs OriginOS. Additionally, the handset comes with military-grade durability certification and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Vivo T5 Pro 5G starts in India at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant and Rs 33,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top-of-the-line configuration comes in Rs 39,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
