Sonu Nigam shaves head in response to azaan controversy

Sonu Nigam today held a press conference to justify his recent tweets which evoked sharp criticism from all corners of social media.

The singer stirred a storm by tweeting against the use of loudspeakers in mosques, temples and gurudwaras in India, and then tweeting again stating he stands by his statement.

Many Muslims were offended because they thought it was a direct attack on Islam, Hindus got offended because he said loudspeakers shouldn't be used in temples as well, and liberals got offended because they thought Sonu's stand was not "liberal" enough.
