Uma Meenakshi, who has over 7,71,000 followers on the platform, posted a photograph of herself with Vijay onboard the flight. In the picture, the chief minister is seen dressed in his signature black-and-white formal attire.
“Crew duty became extra special today with Honourable Chief Minister Shri C Joseph Vijay (fondly known as Thalapathy) onboard,” Meenakshi wrote in the caption of her post.

The viral post comes shortly after Vijay concluded his maiden official visit to the national capital as Tamil Nadu chief minister.
During his visit to New Delhi, Vijay met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. However, he did not hold a proposed meeting with Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing speculation over the cancelled meeting, Congress MP Christopher Tilak said the interaction had merely been postponed because of scheduling constraints and the leaders' busy engagements.
Vijay wrapped up his Delhi visit and returned to Chennai on a special flight, during which Uma Meenakshi managed to capture the now-viral photograph with the chief minister.
