"Let's hope Putin is not lying this time", says German Envoy Walter J. Lindner on Russian ceasefire

The Russian military declared a ceasefire in the capital city of Kyiv in Ukraine and three other major cities on Monday to open humanitarian corridors. Besides Kyiv, Russian forces will hold fire in Kharkiv, Mariupol and Sumy, which are reported to have a maximum concentration of civilians, including Indians.

India Today's Poulomi Saha, Deputy Editor, spoke to German Ambassador to India, Walter J. Lindner on the Russian ceasefire in an exclusive interview. "They [Russian peacekeepers] bring bombs, they bring destruction, they bring death. This is all a huge sequence of lies," he said.
