UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has condemned an arson attack on Jewish community ambulances in Golders Green, North London, calling anti-semitism a 'poison' and describing the incident as an attack on the entire nation. Four ambulances belonging to a Jewish Community Ambulance Service were set on fire in what is being treated as an anti-semitic hate crime. Starmer stated he had been in touch with Jewish community leaders and emphasised that 'an attack on our Jewish community is an attack on us all. We will fight the poison that is anti-semitism.' The incident occurred in Golders Green, home to around 50,000 Jews. Police have launched an investigation, with nearby houses evacuated as a precautionary measure and road closures remaining in place. Four people were caught on camera during the attack. The incident comes amid rising instances of anti-semitic hate crimes in different countries.
