US President Donald Trump has revealed that Iran sent the United States 10 oil tankers as a gesture of goodwill. Speaking at his first cabinet meeting after the Iran attack, Trump disclosed details of what he previously described as a 'gift' from Iran. He stated that eight tankers, loaded with oil and flying Pakistani flags, sailed through the Hormuz Strait. Trump said Iranian representatives told him the tankers were sent 'to show you the fact that we're real and solid and we're there'. He noticed the unusual movement when a Fox News anchor reported eight large tankers passing through the middle of the Hormuz Strait. Trump indicated this convinced him 'we're dealing with the right people'. He added that Iran later apologised for an unspecified statement and sent two additional boats, bringing the total to 10 oil tankers.
