A Bangladesh airline passenger aircraft has crashed in Kathmandu, Nepal. The incident happened while the plane was descending at Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday, according to an airport official.
The plane that crashed is a turboprop. Turboprops have less engine thrust than the conventional airliner's turbojet planes.
An airport official said that 17 people on board had been rescued. 20 bodies have been recovered according to Kantipur radio.
